Participated in several TV interviews in my home from TV outlets in Tokyo, Seoul, Munich, Jacksonville, FL, and Salt Lake City, UT. The Jacksonville, FL interview produced another Emmy Award winning documentary called Rush to Launch which can be viewed on YouTube.

McDonald’s book was used as a secondary source for the BBC movie “Challenger” about Dr. Richard Feynman’s participation on the Presidential Commission on the Challenger Accident; the movie was shown on the Discovery Channel in the United States in 2013.

McDonald appointed in 2014 as an Adjunct Professor at the Air Force Test Pilots School at Edwards Air Force Base in California where his book is required reading.
